Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to the most common questions below.

What specific grade levels do you serve?

We currently assist elementary students from Grade 3 through Grade 8 in English (reading and writing), and math.

Where are the tutoring sessions held?

Sessions are hosted in community spaces in London, ensuring expert support is available within safe, familiar places.

What student-to-teacher ratio do you maintain?

We follow a strict 4:1 approach. This ensures that every learner receives individual attention in a cost-effective way.

How is your staff screened for safety and quality?

The safety of our learners is paramount. Every tutor in our network undergoes a strict vetting process, including a police vulnerable sector check.

What type of qualifications do your tutors have?

Our tutors are generally experienced educators, including retired Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT), teachers’ college graduates, soon-to-be teachers currently in teachers’ college, and current or former college instructors with strong backgrounds in math and English. All tutors are carefully screened and selected for both subject expertise and their ability to support young learners.

What should we be prepared to bring to a session?

Students should bring any homework or assignments they’re finding challenging. Copies of recent tests are also ideal to review to help identify where help is needed.

Will there be a price hike after the first month like some places?

No. We don't use a low advertised price just to get you in the door. Our pricing is consistent and transparent from day one—no surprise jumps after the first month.

Can I cancel a monthly plan before sessions have been attended?

Yes, you may cancel a monthly plan at anytime that's more than 24 hours before a scheduled session. Even if sessions have been attended and there are still remaining sessions in the monthly plan, you can still get a refund for those sessions. However, there will be a $35 cancellation fee to cover administrative and processing costs.

Can I just pay when I arrive?

Because we reserve a tutor and a spot for your child, all sessions must be prepaid online before attending. Our host facilities also don’t allow on‑site payments, so we’re not able to accept cash or card in person.

How does the digital booking process work?

After logging in, click on 'Get Started Now,' choose your sessions, then click on 'Book Now.' You will get a confirmation sent to your email.
